Notes	John Moore, d. 1674. Probably from Essex co., England. Was an early settler at Sudbury, where he and his oldest son, John, who afterwards settled in Lancaster, were both proprietors. Made various purchases of property at Sudbury. Was town officer. One of his sons, Jacob, married Elizabeth, daughter of Henry and Hannah (Brewer) Loker. His wife, Elizabeth, was probably daughter of Philemon Whale. He died at Sudbury Jan. 6, 1674, leaving a lengthy and carefully-drawn will and a considerable estate.
