    • JONATHAN (19), b. 27 Jan., 1747, son of George Hill and Johanna Vibber; married about 1772, Charlotte, daughter of Ezekiol Fox and Mehitabel Lamson. He was a farmer, and lived on the farm formerly owned by John Vibber, and which was conveyed to 'his father in 1740-1. He built a new house on the land in 1787, which house after his death was occupied by his son Charles. He, with his wife, united with the church 18 May, 1794, and had seven children, baptized the following Sunday by Rev. Rozel Cook. He contributed generously toward the support of the gospel, and subscribed about seventy-five dollars to the society fund. He held offices of trust in the town, and was greatly respected by his fellow citizens, He died at his residence in Montville, 27 Jan., 1832, aged 85 years. She died in March,1836, aged 82 years. Both were buried in the Fox burying-ground.
