    • (III) Azel Nobles, youngest child of James and Ann (Leffingwell vibber Noble, was born September 12, 1764. He served in the war of the revolution, for which service he received a pension, which continued until his death. He married, January 5, 1786, Hann a h Noble, and in 1816 settled in Brookfield township, Tioga county, Pennsylvania, with his son Asahel, locating on the farm, a part of which isnow owned by Winfield S. Hubb a r d , who married a descendant of Azel Nobles, as the name has always been written by the Tioga county branch. Azel Nobles soon after moved to Farmington township, where he died.
