Colonel of the 18th Regiment Connecticut Militia1817-21, and Colonel, 1822-23. Children:-Mary, d. 1822, aged 18; Wealthy, d. 1839, in Bethany, N.Y., aged 21; Clarissa, m. Rev. C.C. Foote, author of the "Land of Beulah," of Detroit, Mich.; James Augustus, b. 15 Aug. 1808, was graduated from Yale College in 1834; m. Louisa Thompson.
