  II JONATHAN (7), b. 31 Dec., 1655, fifth son of James Rogers and Elizabeth Rowland; m. Naomi, daughter of Elder Burdick of Newport, R. I. Elder Burdick was a Seventh-day Baptist minister. Mr. Rogers was drowned at Gull Island in 1697, aged 42 years. Children. 35. Ruth, b. 1678; m. her cousin, William Beebe. 36. Elizabeth, b. 1681; m.
