- John Page, the immigrant ancestor, was born in England. He settled, first, in Hingham, Massachusetts, and was one of the signers of a petition to the general court, November 4, 1645. About 1652 he removed to Haverhill, Massachusetts, where he died November 23, 1657. Administration on his estate was granted to his grandson Thomas Page, March 12. 1721-22, and the estate was finally divided in November, 1723. His widow died February 15, 1696-97. He married Mary Marsh, daughter of George and Elizabeth Marsh. Children: John, baptized July u, 1641; Onesiphorus, baptized November 20, 164.2; Benjamin, mentioned below; Mary, baptized May 3, 1646; Joseph, baptized March 5, 1647; Cornelius, baptized July 15, 1649; Sarah, baptized July 18, 1651; Elizabeth, born June 18, 1653; Mercy, April i, 1655; son, born and died March 26, 1658; Ephraim, February 27, 1658-59, died July 22, 1659.
