    • John 45, son of Joshua 18, was probably the John who was 2d Lieut, of Capt. Chapman's Co. that marched to Boston and took , part in the Battle of Bunker Hill, June 17, 1775. Hem., 1747, Elizabeth, dau. of Rev. George Griswold. He lived at Montville, Ct., where all his children were born. They were John 122, b. Jan. 7, 1748. William, b. June 27, 1749, Lieut, entered the army, was taken prisoner, and d. at Halifax, N. S., 1778, unm. Elizabeth, b. Apl. 7, 1751, m. Joshua West of Lebanon, and d. 1841, ae. 90, leaving no issue. Hannah, b. Oct. 28, 1752, d. Nov. 14, 1834, unm. Mary, b. Oct. 17, 1754, m. her cousin Joshua Raymond (n8), and d. first yr. after m. Nathaniel Lynde 123, b. Nov. 18, 1756. Anne, b. Dec. 13, 1758, m.
